Staffing and Management
The AEGIS laboratory is directed by a PhD in Microbiology with vast experience in the management of commercial laboratories. Key support staff members also have their Master's and/or Bachelor’s degrees in Microbiology, Chemistry, Information Technology and various other specialties. 90% of our laboratory technicians are degreed in the biological or chemical sciences.

Training and Non-Conformance Process
Training is a key component of any well run organization. AEGIS has a well documented training and proficiency testing program in place for all technicians. This training component is part of the quality system and is therefore audited regularly for compliance.
AEGIS utilizes the ISO standards of documentation to initiate and record Corrective action AND Preventative action activities due to non-conformance found by the client or internally. Documentation of these corrections make them visible to management and the auditing process to ensure action taken solves the root cause. These are then integrated into the Quality System and therefore maintained over time.
